The TenSyGrid kick-off took place in Hamburg on 05.03.2025 at project coordinator Fraunhofer IWES. The meeting commenced with a comprehensive project overview presented by the coordinator. Each Work Package (WP) leader outlined the specific goals and tasks for their respective WPs in the next 3 years of the project. This was followed by open discussion that encouraged valuable input from consortium members to each other, providing insights essential for planning the next steps in the project.
The main goal of the TenSyGrid is to develop the TenSyGrid Toolbox, a novel analysis tool aimed at providing direct stability assessment methods for large-scale power grids operating on 100% renewable energy. Coordinated by Fraunhofer-Institut für Windenergiesysteme IWES, this project brings together key partners including Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, eRoots Analytics, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, and University of Malta to work on innovative solutions. Project partners are committed to expand the scope of the MTI toolbox to effectively address the challenges in stability assessment for power systems.
